Summary: Great for the diaper bag! 2007-07-19
Comment: We got a sample of one of these washcloths from the hospital and kept it in the diaper bag. We got a chance to use it this week when I accidentally spilled stinky red wine vinegar salad dressing on my two-month old at a restaurant. Diaper wipes did nothing, and I didn't want to use the generic pink soap in the restaurant's bathroom dispenser. The washcloth was the perfect thing... soon I had a sweet smelling, clean and happy baby! I'm buying a couple of packs to make sure my diaper bag is always stocked with these handy washcloths.

Summary: Great product, nice smell, so soft! 2005-12-04
Comment: I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about ... the soap in these washcloths smell so nice! And the lavendar ones smell so great, my baby and toddler get compliments from everyone the next day about how great they smell. I want to use them for myself! Super-soft and strong -- I often use them for more than one bath. I also like to use them for extra messy diapers. They clean much better than wipes alone. And the baby on the box is so darn cute!!

Summary: Right product, wrong purpose 2005-10-22
Comment: I don't think I'd waste the money to use them for the intended purpose of disposable washcloths, but these things are great for parents of newborns for another use. A well-respected hospital in our area discourages parents of newborns from using baby wipes for the first few weeks because many newborns cannot tolerate the chemicals included in those wipes. They say to use a washcloth instead...we tried the soap-free version (not found on this site) and they worked great when moistened under the sink.

However, if you use the soapy kind as wipes, you have to sit at the sink and rinse out all the lather so you can use it for your baby's sensitive bottom. We did that, and it's a pain in the...well, bottom. Another downside if you use this product for this purpose is that the cost is a little much considering you go through a package in 2 days.

Summary: Not that great.......regular washcloth and soap are better 2005-10-10
Comment: I got a sample pack of three of these in the mail, so I tried them out. I didn't really like them. They were thin, they don't smell good and are too expensive for everyday use. I regular washcloth and soap are better. Don't wash your money!!

Summary: They stink...literally! 2005-04-17
Comment: Everything about these washcloths is great, except the smell! They stink, Huggies should be ashamed of themselves for putting out such a stinky product, don't all mothers want their babies to smell sweet?! Well with these, your babies will smell like plastic! The Johnson and Johnson brand smell better, but the actual washcloth isn't the greatest, Huggies smell horrible but the actual washcloth is better than J&J.
