Pots and pans clean easily, while the rugged nonstick readily releases food. Beneath the nonstick is heavy-gauge, harder-than-steel anodized aluminum. Pot and pan bottoms are left uncoated to conduct heat quickly and prevent hot spots. Bright chrome handles have hanging holes for storage and soft, stay-cool rubber grips for slip-resistance. The grips are deep, narrow, and shaped ergonomically, permitting pans to be used comfortably despite their weight. Break-resistant, domed glass lids permit cooking to be monitored without releasing heat and are oven-safe to 375 degrees F. Summary: Lid shattered during first use 2008-01-14
Comment: The glass lid shattered the first time we used the pan. I returned the lid to Anolon and was sent a replacement. Have not tested the new lid.

Comment: This looks like a great pan but it is just too heavy. I returned it. I recommend the Circulon Elite match. I love mine.

Summary: excellent pan and even better service 2006-10-18
Comment: My wife and I received the pans in this set for our wedding over 3 years ago. They have been excellent despite very heavy use from us. The non-stick still doesn't stick and there is almost no discoloration. They are very easy to clean because the entire pan is non-stick, not just the inside. The silicon on the handle does an excellent job of protecting your hand from being burnt even at high temperatures.
The only problem we've had is that on a few of the pans the silicon part of the handle came loose. I submitted a request to their customer service department on the web and had brand new pans within a week at no cost to me.
