This electric food chopper accomplishes a food processor's principal function of chopping and mincing without having to haul out the big machine. It's just 8 inches high and 4-3/4 inches in diameter, and its 3-cup bowl is ample for many chores in a family household and most chores in a one or two-person household. At 150 watts, the motor is powerful enough to chop or mince vegetables, fruits, herbs, cheese, nuts, chocolate, cooked meats, and bread. The power head has a soft grip for easy one-handed use. Comment: I bought this one because it had great ratings on consumer reports website and I needed it for chopping/grinding food for my baby.
It does very well job on chopping, however, some foods cannot be mashed to desired pureeed consistency.
Whould definitely recommend this one!!

Summary: great item for the kitchen 2008-08-25
Comment: I bought this food chopper after getting tired of doing everything by hand. I love it. It does a good job on chopping everything from onions and garlic to cilantro, basil, ginger, and making spice pastes for Indian food. I would recommend it as a useful item for any kitchen. Definitely saves time and makes making things that require a lot of chopping less hassle. Easy to clean too!

Comment: I'm glad I read the reviews for this food chopper because they were a huge influence on whether or not I made the purchase. I can tell you that I've gone through many choppers and this one is by far the best and easiest to use. You can't go wrong if you get this chopper.

Comment: No complaints whatsoever. Perfect size for me, so easy to use and to clean. Love the cover on the bottom, and another thing I appreciate is the lowness of the bottom blade...nothing too much can slide underneath it and not get chopped. Chops from coarse to fine to puree depending on what you want. Great price for a handy little item.
