Product Description
Double Wall Clear Glass / 9 Ounce Capacity Each / Set of 2 / Holds warm and cold beverages Amazon.com Review
With futuristic looks and high-tech construction, Bodum's Pavina drinkware makes an exciting departure from traditional glassmaking. The walls of each vessel are crafted from two layers of clear glass, creating an optical illusion that the liquid is suspended inside. Softening the look, Pavina's shapes feature smooth, rounded silhouettes. The inner wall also curves slightly away from the outer wall for a touch of understated elegance. This set of two double old fashioned/tumbler glasses serves anything from minty mojitos to hot cocoa. Crafted of borosilicate glass, which is also used to make scientific lab equipment, the pair is exceptionally strong, lightweight, and thermal. The two-layer construction also resists heat and prevents condensation, so no matter what temperature the beverage is, the glasses remain comfortable to hold and safe for any tabletop. Winner of the prestigious European IF Design Award, this 9-ounce, scratch-resistant set also goes into the dishwasher and microwave. Mix and match Pavina with the Assam and Canteen lines to stock the bar or dining table with a variety of fun shapes. --Kara Karll Editor's Note: Because the glasses are mouth blown, each one may have slight variations in height, thickness, and weight. Bodum recommends using care when placing ice into the glass to avoid fracturing the inner layer. Do not use metal spoons or place the glass into a crowded dishwasher.

Summary: Great wine glasses 2008-07-12
Comment: Love these little wine glasses. The double insulation keeps your wine at the right temperature longer as your hand does not warm it up.

Summary: small but nice 2008-07-04
Comment: These don't hold much, but they keep whatever is in them really hot or really cold. They won't sweat so you can use them without a coaster.

Summary: bodum pavina 9 0z therma glasses 2008-06-30
Comment: The thermal glasses are great but I expected them to be alittle bigger. Guess I meant to get the 12oz but these work fine. They don't sweat. I thought they would be plastic but it's blown glass! Do they break easy? I guess I'll find out!

Summary: Love them tenderly 2008-06-26
Comment: These glasses are certainly unique and that is their primary attraction. They perform their intended purpose, thermal protection, moderately well but don't drop them; you'll be picking up shards and slivers forever. They are also pricey, but if you want a conversation piece and can "love them tenderly", they are almost worth the price.

Summary: My third order 2008-06-25
Comment: The only problem is that they are fragile. I busted my first one puting ice in it from the refrig. Once you learn that and accept the fact that you will bust one every now and then, they are perfect for chilled wine or hot drinks for my wife.
I will replace them as broken and accept that as a cost of a great product
