Customer Rating: Summary: Keeps breaking! 2008-08-19 Comment: OK, so this is the 3rd filter basket we have gone through. Keep replacing it because its cheaper than buying a new coffee machine. We love the coffee machine as its metal and doesn't have a glass liner (my husband is notorious for breaking coffee pots). But, the plastic clips that holds the basket onto the coffee maker keep breaking. The original basket lasted the longest - but I've been through 2 more replacements. We've had this pot over 5 years - but the last basket lasted only 6 months!
