Large enough to grind up to 2-1/2 ounces of coffee beans (enough for 12 cups), this powerful grinder ensures that freshly ground coffee is quickly available, even for big coffeemakers in the office. The details are what make this grinder exceptional: The lid is transparent for monitoring the grind, and has two down-pointing ribs to guide beans toward the blades for even grinding. Comment: I bought this as a gift for my mother who wanted a fresher taste for her morning coffee. I own a stainless series made by Braun (tea kettle /toaster / coffee maker). They work great like every other Braun product we have purchased for our kitchn over the past several years.

Comment: The grind is a little inconsistent and it's very difficult to clean, but otherwise no complaints yet. I hear they stop working after a year, but it's pretty cheap and it's working beautifully so far, so I'm happy.

Summary: Great grinder 2008-09-26
Comment: I am not coffee pro, just someone who was looking to try something different. This coffee grinder works really well for me. I was using it 4 or 5 times a day, every time I wanted to make a cup of coffee. Then I got smart and I fill an old glass peanut butter jar that I keep in the fridge. That way I only grind once a week and the coffee still tastes way better than store bought.
