This juicer totally blows me away. I have an expensive Samson Juicer that I never use because (1) it took way too much time for just a little juice, (2) you have to cut up all the fruit/veggies anyway and (3) CLEAN UP---yuck! The Breville is a whole different kind of juicer---a little harder than a blender, but not much harder. The carrots I used for carrot juice were huge, thick and hard, and they whizzed through this juicer with pulp and juice separated in seconds. No fuss, no chopping up of the carrots, and easy clean up. And the best juice I've ever had in my life;
I had to really read the instruction book to figure out how everything fit together, but once I figured it out (after about 10 minutes), it took about 2 minutes to juice and 3 minutes at most to clean up. It's about time that someone made a decent juicer, and this is it.
The price is pretty unbelievable too. This seems to be Breville's lower end juicer; I didn't know that though, until I compared it to the other Breville's on Amazon. This is a GREAT value, and if you have less than $150 to spend I would recommend it. Knowing what a great product it is though, now I'd pony up for one of the $300 Breville Juicers, though, because I really trust the quality of the manufacturer. If they can make something so fantastic for so little, what will they do with a higher-end product?
