Summary: Best yet Good Bye G. Foreman 2005-05-31
Comment: It's the 1500 watts that really gets the job done on steaks. The high, 420º temp sears meats instead of the half steam job of my last 1000W Foreman, that now has the Teflon flaking off. The varible temp allows a slow toast of sandwiches, and the adjustable floating top plate keeps the weigh from squashing down sandwiches or delicate fish. Very well built, even though the cooking surfaces do not come out, they are of higher quality, and so far, have only needed a wipe with a wet paper towel while still warm. Many well thought out features; folding legs to make it level so cheese doesn't run, stainless steel that doesn't discolor, a lid locking feature to carry it with one hand, by a real handle, place to coil cord on bottom, attached grease trap, and feet to stand it up on end to store out of the way. Just the best so far, no timer, but, I couldn't hear the one on the Foreman half the time anyway.
