Summary: Great slicer for the serious chef 2008-10-21
Comment: Very well constructed and sturdy. Non-slip feet work great. Super for making easy chips or fries, or other julienned veggies. Instructions are clear. The lower blade, the corrugated one, only produces thin slices (@2-3 mm), so getting fancy with thicker slices is not possible. Box is sturdy enough for closet storage, as we don't have very much counter space. Easy to clean with spray washer and/or dish brush.

Summary: Excellent Mandoline 2008-05-08
Comment: I have been searching and searching for a great mandoline. I have read every single review on Amazon and other sites and decided that this was the one that I wanted to try. I couldn't be happier. Easy to use and easy to clean. Yes, the blades are very very very sharp and with all mandolines you must be very careful not to cut yourself. I purchased this from [...]and I also purchased Kevlar Butcher Gloves from the same website Product # CDKEVLARGLOVES
to ensure that I would be protected from any potential injuries. Using a mandoline requires your total attention and I feel much more comfortable with the added safety of these gloves. Gotta go -- making some cole slaw!!
