Summary: Useful and fashion 2008-05-09
Comment: I purchased this case primarily for its fashion because I don't want to use something that looks obviously is a "laptop case." It's been 2 months, so far I am happy and it does the job. Couple comments:
1. This is really for "compact" notebooks, meaning 12" or smaller. If yours is bigger, go with the larger size.
2. The case comes with an insert. I am that sure the notebook supposes to be put into the insert then into the case or not. But the insert is too small for my notebook (ThinkPad X61T) to fit. Perhaps the manufacturer should explain the purpose of the insert better in the product description. This is the reason I gave it a 4-star rating instead of 5

Summary: Great lightweight small laptop bag 2008-04-25
Comment: I purchased this for my 12" Dell Latitude as an alternative to carrying a big bulky laptop bag (and I liked the fact that it is stylish). It's made of neoprene and has a removable divider that has openings for disks, cords, etc. It has a shoulder strap that is wide and doesn't cut into my shoulder, as well as two handles that also have a small amount of stretch and are very comfortable. I can fit the laptop with cords as well as a few folders, my laptop cooling pad and a book in the bag. It would stretch to accomodate more, I'm sure, but I'm trying to simplify my carrying load, not add to it. There is not a huge amount of padding, so if you're going somewhere that might cause it to be banged around I'm not sure how much protection it would be. But that is not my plan, so I'm happy. If you're looking for an alternative to the big laptop bags for a small laptop and you don't plan to go rugged with it, I'd recommend this.
