Product Description
Lightweight, stackable, durable (we bet you know someone who's had their set over twenty years and it's still un-chipped), Corelle is a suitable choice for active households. Winter Frost's white simplicity is the ultimate in versatility. Amazon.com Review
A party favorite, this platter serves any variety of courses from appetizers through desserts. Perfectly versatile, the 12-1/2-inch oval dish is suitable for a sizable serving of hors d'oeuvres for entertaining, roast chicken with vegetables for the family, and a plate of brownies for hungry after-schoolers. The appeal of the bright white appearance offers a simple design that is stackable for space-saving flexibility. A unique lamination process turns layers of glass composition into a durable yet lightweight product that's chip-resistant and safe in the microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher. Complementing the full line of dinnerware in Winter Frost White, this serving piece fits every season. --Roberta Cruger

Summary: Simple and Plain. This is One Durable Serving Platter 2008-08-05
Comment: Corelle plates and bowls have been with our household ever since I remember.
We used to have (we still have them but they are on the shelves) Corelles with color designs but we decided to stick with simple plain ones which is easier to match.
Pros:
-Durable. Me and my wife have dropped them many times; and they don't break easily.
-Light. Less stress for our kitchen shelves.
-Microwave safe
-Easy to clean
-Dishwasher safe
Cons:
-Same complaints with our Corelle bowl. Still don't understand why a single item costs so much compared to a Corelle set

Summary: white platter 2008-04-23
Comment: I happen to like plain white dishes. The foood looks better on them, and you can change the other table decor to suit any occasion.
This platter is good a size, and will get lots of use!

Comment: I love Corelle products. They are very durable and look very nice also. I have had Corelle dinnerware since I'm 18 and I'm now 47. They just last and last. I'm looking forward to getting a new set of dinnerware from Corelle with a gift card I have and will purchase the square dinner dishes. Love Corelle and have used no other dinnerware for years!

Summary: I LOVE CORELLE! 2008-02-08
Comment: I was unable to find extra platters in my pattern, so I'm glad Corelle makes the white available, since it can go with most anything. The best thing about Corelle is it does NOT absorb heat from the microwave like stoneware does. Corelle will be hot directly under where the microwaved food sits, but the edges stay cool. And it is lightweight (unlike stoneware and other dishes) so after you add the food, it is still manageable.
