This 1-1/2-quart round baking dish is ideal for pastas, casseroles, or meats, and features a glass lid with an easy-to-grasp handle (but as with all Corningware and other ceramic or glass bakeware, you'll always need to use potholders when handling the dish or its lid). Summary: 1 1/2 qt CorningWare French White Dish 2008-01-13
Comment: I bought this for my sister-in-law for Christmas. I could not find this item sold alone at any retail stores. It's nice to know you can buy items seperately instead of the sets the stores sell. It was a great price, the shipping was very reasonable and I received it quickly. I will definately buy more products in the future.

Comment: This is great. You can literally take it out of the oven and put in the refrigerator without worry about it cracking. I love this dish. I do recommend that you get the plastic cover. It makes it so much easier for stacking in the refrigerator.

Comment: This casserole dish is very good. The glass is very strong and beautiful. It is great to prepare foods in advance and just reheat them at dinnertime. My husband likes to make microwave-oatmeal in it. Great buy!

Comment: It is just the right size for leftover to reheat in the micro. I like the glass cover instead of plastic to reheat in the micro. I like it so much I ordered a second one:)
