Summary: Beautiful - use them every day. 2008-06-27
Comment: These bowls are beautiful, sturdy, functional and well-worth the money. They are the perfect size for morning cereal, but not too heavy. I use them in the microwave everyday to make hot cereal. I am ready to purchase more - Emile Henry is definitely worth it.

Summary: cheery little cereal bowls 2006-06-10
Comment: I bought these bowls because I wanted a nicer quality than the plastic bowls I've been using for several years. I also wanted bowls I could pull straight out of the dishwasher without having to dry any ridges or crevices where water remains after the dry cycle.
These bowls have a bit of weight to them and are a beautiful cherry red color with a bright white interior. I am a bit clumsy in the kitchen and, as such, have broken quite a few delicate items, but these are quite durable.
I can't wait to finish buying the set! They are a bit on the expensive side but are well worth it by aesthetic and practical criteria!
