Product Review
Amazon.com Review

Devoted tea drinkers are as regimented about their tea preparation as the most wired cappuccino drinkers. This attractive teapot helps even those who follow a strictly scientific method to simplify the tea-making process: Thanks to a built-in tea caddy, you can use loose tea leaves, allowing precise adjustment of a tea's strength without the messy straining process. When preparing a strong tea, remember not to fill the caddy to capacity as tea leaves expand when steeping. The caddy has an attached arm for lowering it into the water for brewing; just lifted the caddy out when the tea has reached the desired strength. The 7-cup teapot is made of heat-resistant glass. A tip from traditional tea drinkers: Always warm the pot with hot water before brewing your tea. --Laura Cuthbert

Summary: A great teapot! 2008-04-15
Comment: I bought one of these ages ago from another website, and it's held up great over the years. Makes super tea, and the integrated tea ball hides all the mess nicely.

The only downside is that the thin glass doesn't retain heat well. Drape a kitchen towel over the tea pot if you won't be drinking it all immediately.

Summary: POT, not KETTLE, Ignore the "No Stars" review! 2002-01-09
Comment: The person who gave the "No Stars" review obviously misunderstood the funadamental nature of this product (i.e., was clueless.) It would burn, of course, if you put it on the stove. Most other teapots would likewise burn, crack, or otherwise be severely damaged if you placed them on the stove to heat water. TEAPOTS DO NO GO ON THE STOVE! Tea kettles go on the stove. A sane person pours water from a kettle into a teapot to make one's tea. (Hello...?)

Summary: A Super Teapot! 2001-01-03
Comment: I loved this teapot. My husband bought it for me and it broke before our move. I thought that I'd never find it again. However he found it for me here on Amazon.com as a surprise for Christmas! I like it because I can use loose tea and tea bags in the tea caddy. My tea comes out perfect everytime too. I can also get several servings out of each pot. It's very easy to use and clean up is rather quick. I'd recommend this for yourself or as a gift!
