Summary: Flippin' genius 2008-08-19
Comment: How many people here have owned a thermos before? Out of all those thermoses, how many haven't leaked? My personal experience is that sooner or later all thermoses leak, and then you end up with coffee down your front OR...well, coffee down your front. Because the other option is a mug, which can be difficult while driving.
Point is, this is the first thermos I have ever had that is leakproof. The design looks nice as well, so you can be proud to carry it around. I have the strange feeling this is supposed to be used for water (it does say sport flask) and I'm sure it works just fine for that, but coffee or tea are equally good to store inside. One concern, though; one wonders about the plastic parts on top. Scalding hot liquids may wear it away, or (heaven forbid) melt it.
This reviewer would not know. I don't enjoy a nice cup of lava in the morning. Reasonably hot drinks have been fine - beyond that, who knows? All I know is, this is a genius design and a wonderful thing to own. Kudos, Farberware!
