Summary: Superb Value/Quality Stockpot 2008-09-01
Comment: I bought this item earlier this year for my home. Loved it so much that I bought one for my beach house. It looks/feels/cooks like a much more expensive stockpot. Washes up well. This is a wonderful item for yourself, gift, shower gift, etc. I'm telling you - you can cook alot of corn on the cob, huge batches of soup/stews - and it is such a good looking item. This pot could be easily $100 more and still a bargain. LOVE IT.

Summary: 16 quart farberware stock pot 2008-04-20
Comment: I love the farberware products, mine have lasted and stood up wonderfully. This large size allows me to make enough of my "wonderful" pasta sauce with the meatballs and sausage to share with my kids families and freeze plenty for myself. I know I will have this looking good for many years to come.

Summary: Big stockpot - great for crowds 2007-09-28
Comment: This is a quality stockpot at a great price. BIG enough to make soups, stews, spaghetti sauce, chili, or cook a lot of pasta for a crowd. You can put an entire chicken inside to make chicken soup or stock and still have room for vegetables. I bought two of them for Christmas gifts last year for a daughter and a daughter in law. They love their stock pots. Easy to clean, too.

Summary: great for canning 2007-08-27
Comment: My daughter purchased one of these for canning tomato sauce, and was so pleased with it she bought one for me. I was so happy with it I bought a second one. VERY heavy base, nothing seems to scortch no matter how high I cook. No rivets for the handles so the entire inside is smooth and easy to clean. I don't think you could find a better buy.

Summary: Proven in use 2004-03-28
Comment: This pot is PERFECT for making homemade pasta for a moderate to large sized crowd.
The heavy base and large capacity means when you plunge in a plate of still-moist homemade spagetti, the water keeps boiling, or returns to a full boil within a minute or so. Ours has stayed beautiful in our active kitchen for over a year despite constant use and frequent washing.
This is my favorite large kettle.
I can think of NOTHING wrong with this pot.
Update: 4/2005 (a year later) - This is STILL the perfect pot for cooking large batches of pasta and two-chicken soups.
Update 5/2008 (4 years later) - Still looks as good as new, and works just as well. We've given them as gifts, and they are always appreciated!
