Summary: Absolutely adorable and heavy duty!! 2008-04-28
Comment: This little pot is the perfect size to melt butter or make sauce or gravy. I was looking for an ideal size to melt butter and found this.....couldn't be happier. And with the great deals you can get from Amazon, I think I found this at a reduced price......I love Farberware products....take a licking and keep on ticking......

Summary: Small but Practical 2008-04-15
Comment: I bought this because I wanted a small pot when I only want to heat a small amount of food. I use Calphalon daily, which is large and heavy. When I opened the box for this pot, I was a little bit skeptical. It is small and lightweight.
I have been impressed by its practicality since I got it. It is the perfect size for warming up a couple of servings of sauce (such as pasta sauce). I have a smooth cooktop and the pot is perfectly level on it. The pot also does not tip over due to the weight of the handle (a good thing).
I'm not sure if I'll warm butter in it or melt chocolate (I'd prefer to use a double boiler for that one) but I can see frequent use for this in my future.

Comment: Pan is great quality and a great size. Not too small, but large enough to mix up a packet of gravy mix or 2 cups of water. Thinking about buying another one. Very stable on my gas range, stay cool handle.

Comment: This little pan was a lifesaver during my holiday baking frenzy, but I find myslef using it well after the holiday season as well. It is the perfect size for melting a cube of butter, and it is very easy to brown the butter without burning it. The spout feature is really handy for not making a mess when pouring out the melted butter. This is a very handy little gadget that I wish I had purchased some time ago.

Comment: Thrilled with this product. It is so hard to find a sauce pan in these dimensions- perfect for heating your coffee's milk on the stove or melting butter. I bought a similar one years ago and have been looking for another, - the other one I have is a little taller and smaller at the base- which is better for frothing milk- but I haven't found another stovetop model. This is classic Farberware with a solid, heavy bottom, a really lovely little saucepan- I"m considering getting another. Great little pan.
