Summary: Go Green, Recycling Bags!! 2008-11-01
Comment: What a great product! Not a hard side but they do velcro together and stand up nicely! Customizeable label for whatever you are able to recycle in your area! Very good size if you do have weekly pick up. I keep them in the kitchen and take them to the recycling pick up bin outside for the weekly pick up. They save me a lot of steps and you are able to get a lot moved in each bag! I looked around for a large enough container to make it worth while but wasn't willing to spend up to $200 just to have recycleables in one area. This is a nice economical choice!
Shipping was fast from this seller!

Summary: Good product to separate recycles 2008-08-31
Comment: I was looking for an all in one recycling container that I saw in the magazine Dwell but were quite expensive ($70-$200). I found these 3 bags to be reasonably priced. The product arrived very quickly in about 5 days.
Upon opening I was a little disappointed to the flimsy quality and the bags were bigger than I had expected. One bag smelled like it was used for dirt so I am not sure if I received a returned bag. The bags are designated for metals, paper, and glass. However, you can use them for whatever your needs are. I use one for plastic bags, one for paper (cereal boxes, newspapers, magazines, junk mail, etc), and the 3rd bag I combine my plastic food containers, glass bottles, and cans. In order to keep the bags standing up you will need to connect them with the velcro and place up against a wall for support until you start filling them up with your recycles. The bags fit nicely into my kitchen closet.
Since I do not have curb side recycling, I have been driving to a local place that has recycling bins. The bags are nice to carry back and forth while being able to hold a lot of weight.
I would definitely not have these bags laying out for people to see. But if you have a closet or a place in your garage, these bags will come in handy.

Summary: Recylcing Bags 2008-08-30
Comment: These bags do all that they say they will. Organize, transport, and stand upright even when empty. I've gotten so many compliments and queries from people who see them and want some for themselves!

Summary: Low Tech Solution 2008-07-29
Comment: This is an excellent low tech solution to recycling. Very convenient for taking to the recycling center. For those who say the bags don't stand up - just attach the velcro tabs to another bag and they will stay upright. The material is a bit flimsy though.

Summary: a bit disapointed 2008-07-20
Comment:
There are no recyle areas where we live. I bought these and travel 20 miles to recycle. I was very discouraged to see that the paper bin was already ripped. I have since mended it, but shouldn't have to do so. We are recyclcing here and to return it just doesn't seem right.
