If your FoodSaver machine has an accessory port you can use these stoppers to seal previously corked bottles of wine, oil, vinegar or what have you.

Keep half-finished bottles of wine and open bottles of oil and vinegar from spoiling before they can be finished. This set of three bottle stoppers is for use with any FoodSaver vacuum packaging machine that has an accessory port and keeps opened bottles fresh three to five times longer than other storage methods. The corks plug into the bottles while tubing (sold separately) inserts through their tops and removes air from the bottles with the help of a FoodSaver machine (also sold separately). Freshness is sealed in and flavor is preserved until it is convenient to reopen the bottle again. This is an economical investment as it ensures that all purchased bottled food gets eaten and that there are hardly any throw-aways due to spoilage. Summary: Don't Bother 2008-06-24
Comment: I love my FoodSaver V2490 vacuum and sealer for bagging food. But these are a different matter. None of the three hold vacuum in wine bottles for 10 minutes let alone several days. One star is too many.

Comment: I love these! Since it is just my husband and myself now, we don't use the wine, oil, etc quite so fast. I can still buy the larger sizes, save money, and have everything fresh to use when I want it. I am very happy with this product!

Comment: This is THE best product out there to preserve wine, being in the industry I have tried countless products and this is by far the best. If you drink wine often but don't finish it all in one sitting this is a must.

Summary: Do not buy this junk! 2008-01-13
Comment: I purchased these to go along with my Foodsaver.. that was a mistake. I can't seem to get them to vacuum seal at all, as soon as I seal it I'm able to easily pull them right back out of the bottle. wish I would not have wasted $10 on these since all I use them for are bottle caps! I've been happy with some other FoodSaver items, but these are useless.

Comment: I've used several other foodsaver products but these are not worth the money. THEY LEAK. Don't waste your money. There are other manual vacuum sealers for a bottle of wine that work much better.
