Compatible with FoodSaver vacuum packaging systems that have an accessory port, this completer set is an economical way to ensure that both home-prepared specialties and store-bought foods don't spoil before their time. The assortment of storage options offered in this kit is enough to vacuum seal almost all perishable goods in the kitchen and extend the shelf life of foods. The package comes with 10 pint-sized and 10 quart-sized plastic storage bags for keeping everything from raw fish steaks to cooked asparagus fresh. The bags have channels that make air removal more efficient and a 5-ply construction that offers a better barrier against moisture and oxygen in either the refrigerator or freezer. The bags actually prevent freezer burn plus they are conveniently safe for boiling or the microwave to make reheating frozen home-cooked meals a cinch. All of the following group of accessories work with the included hose, which connects the FoodSaver appliance to the storage container and removes all of the air. Two canisters--in 3/4 quart and 1-1/2 quart sizes--hold liquid items, such as soups or sauces, or keep dry goods, such as cookies or potato chips, crisp and crunchy. A 5-1/2-inch-diameter universal lid vacuum is thrown in to seal half-eaten containers of store-bought foods, such as coffee, tomato sauce, or soup, in their original glass jars or metal cans. In addition, a wide-mouth jar sealer preserves jams, sauces, or fruit in wider Mason jars and two bottle stoppers prevent spoilage in opened bottles of wine, oil, or vinegar. Comment: Bags- The bags that came with the set are handy as I do not need to measure out and cut to length. This makes for quicker vacuuming.
Universal lid- came in handy as I opened several cans of pineapple to make a ham and had part of one left over. I used the lid to vacuum seal the can which has lasted several weeks since it has been opened. Only issue I found was the can and the top of the universal lid needs to be clean to make a good seal.
Canisters- I was leery when I first bought the set has I have heard many complaints about the canisters cracking. To this point in time I have not had any of mine crack. But I do not clean them out in the dishwasher. I am not sure if that has made a difference or not but, they have worked wonderfully to this point. Hopefully they do not crack in the future.
Bottle stoppers- I gave this review a 4 instead of a 5 because of the bottle stoppers. The first few times I have used them they worked great, but since; have lost suction every few days in the several bottles of wine I have tried them in. I cannot tell if it is user error or product defect.
Jar sealer- works extremely well and cheaper than the canister set. Also after opening a canned jar, it helps keep it fresher longer, like opening up a jar of pickles that have been home canned and vacuuming them to keep them fresh longer.
Overall a great starter set if you have already bought a Food Saver vacuum unit. However, like I mentioned before; The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating was because of the bottle stoppers. As they did not work as well as I would have hoped they would.

Comment: Overall, I was satisfied with the price and fast delivery. It's just too bad that I had to but an accessory kit just to get a replacement vacuum hose for my main unit! After perusing the manufactures website, they don't even list this as an item you can purchase seperatly. This is an easy item to misplace and they should definetly have listing so you can just purchase a new hose by itself. The accessories I received were of great quality though!
