Bigger and heavier than most steak knives, this rugged set is designed for a more masculine grip and accommodates a tighter budget. The four oversized knives in the set have steakhouse-style blades that are 4-1/2-inches long and 1-inch tall to cut through the juiciest, thickest steaks. Blades are made of mirror-finished stainless-steel and stamped by machine to keep the cost down. The serrated edge stays sharp for a lifetime of cutting without ever requiring sharpening. Although the serrated edge is easy to maintain, it can tend to shred meats during slicing so a more gentle application may produce a cleaner and more even cut. The blades are triple-riveted to rosewood handles that have a beautiful and rustic reddish-brown grain. The handles are contoured to provide a comfortable grip for larger hands.
