Summary: Bread Box -Not worth the money 2007-05-29
Comment: I am very unhappy with the quality of the product and with the service the company provided. There were 3 noticeable screw holes in the front of the box where the flimsy knob had evidently come out. The knob was still very wobbly even after they had obviously moved it 3 other times. The wood quality was very poor, as well. I contacted the company and explained the situation. They replied by offering for me to either keep the product with a 20% discount or by allowing me to return it. I replied to them saying I would accept the discount and keep the product. So, knowing that I was going to keep it, I purchased a large knob that would cover all the screw holes. Because of the poor quality of the wood, I was able to cover it but the wood did begin to split. After accepting their offer and making the repair, the company then responded again by telling me that I needed to send them pictures of the defect. I had already covered up the problem and because of the split wood, I could not remove the screw to take pictures of the problem. I sent them a letter explaining my situation. They did not respond. I even told them that because of their lack of response, I would be contacting Amazon and writing a review. I have yet to receive a reply. I would never purchase a product from this company!
