Summary: Small actions x lots of people = big change 2008-06-26
Comment: I bought these bags to avoid using plastic bags at the grocery store. I keep them in my car for other shopping as well. I don't use plastic at Target or any other store and these bags help me to do that. I would recommend everyone buying reuseable bags and doing your part to help our planet. Think of all the plastic bags just filling up our landfills, where does it go when you throw stuff in the trash? There are no fairies who make all the trash magically disappear. The stuff sits there in the dump for a long long time, plastic bags take 1,000 years to break down. And when it does it is bad for the soil and living creatures humans and animal. Plastic bags are already banned in some cities. Don't wait for your city to ban plastic! Get on board now. If you use these bags and others like them you will no doubt be saving 9-15 bags a week depending on how much shopping you do. That's like 5280 bags a year. Do the math, now times that by how many people just live on your street, in your neighborhood, in your city! Be sensible and show others what we all know we should be doing. We are what we do!

Comment: I bought these totes because this is something that I can do for the enviornment with very little effort. I bought three one for my mom and one for my sister also. They say that they are working great! They do have a sturdy piece in the bottom so that they stand up better then some others. Which is something that I liked.

Comment: Besides the set of Green Concept bags, I have several other reusable bags including Baggu, Chicco, and Envirosax. I would say that these are more appropriate, but not limited to, grocery shopping. The do not fold into a pouch, but you can fold it in half, and they are lightweight enough to carry around.
The designs on the bag are beautiful, the handles seem to be strong, and there is a removable insert that helps keep the bottom flat. The beige and the green bags are taller and have a smaller gusset (good for bread, cereal, etc.). The brown and gray bags are shorter and have a wider gusset (good for milk, larger boxed items, etc.). They hold about 2 or 3 plastic bags worth of groceries, depending on how much weight you can carry.
Compared to the other reusable bags I own, these are the better choice for heavier grocery shopping. Because of the firm gusset and the bag's ability to stand on it's own, my groceries remain intact when I get them home, and I don't have to worry about a missing pouch. I don't know how long they will last, but for the price of what you get, I highly recommend it.

Comment: I too love these totes. The colors are striking and the designs unique. The size variety and removable bottom supports allow versatility for whatever their use. They are non-odorous and dry quickly if they get wet without ruining the contents or color running/fading.
I was also impressed with the short period of time from ordering to arriving at my doorstep (>3 days). Well done Green Concept! Looking forward to purchasing other green products by you.

Comment: I love these bags. I bought them for my wife and she is using it daily. We love the whole collection. The size feels very nicely for both of us. I use it personally to shop at local Trader Joe & Whole foods store weekly. Everytime I shop, people ALWAYS ask me where to get this stylish shopping bag :) I love the compliments and the Green Concepts' eco-friendly messages really help others to aware the importance of saving the Earth & stopping polluting the environment. Good job, Green Concept rocks!!!
