Unlike wood, bamboo is a naturally abundant resource which grows quickly and is easy to harvest. This is a beautiful grinder to keep on the dinner table at all times. This model features a stainless-steel grinder. Bring the taste of fresh ground pepper to any meal. Fill with whole peppercorns only. Not for use with pre-ground pepper. Do not put in the dishwasher. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Measures: 2.5" Diameter by 8" High.

Comment: After researching numerous peppermills at several high end kitchen stores, I decided to purchase this one. Reasonable price, perfect size and great quality. The stainless steel gears grind the peppercorns to the perfect size every time.
