Summary: Oxo mango corer 2008-07-27
Comment: Save your money! As a long time mango lover I was happy to see this product. After several tries I am no longer happy. If you have a stringy mango it is impossible to cut. If you have a nice firm mango it is hard to cut. It just does not work as it is cumbersome and one is unable to press down on the fruit itself to get it through the cutter. I do not recommend buying the mango corer. (The picture of the apple corer is not the product reviewed)

Summary: a bit pricey 2008-06-14
Comment: Works fine but a bit expensive so I'm only giving it 3 stars. I got it because I had a just a few dollars left on a gift certificate and we needed a corer. Otherwise I would have gotten a much cheaper brand.

Comment: I love apples, but the hassle of the core and the juicy mess often made me pick other things to snack on (yes, I'm lazy). I love this corer. It's easy to use and clean.
The only reason I gave 4 stars, instead of 5, is because it doesn't finish the cut at the very bottom of the apple very well.

Comment: It is a nice thing to have for those of us who eat a lot of apples, on the upside, the plastic grip makes it easy to use, on the downside it is kind of hard to wash, even in the washing machine and also the blades could have been a little bit sharper.
