Summary: A little bit of home 2008-08-05
Comment: Thank goodness I found this. This is the same rice cooker I've been using in Japan for the last 3 years, and I wasn't looking forward to having to go without it. Granted, in Japan, pretty much all the rice cookers look like this, and a cooker of that quality would be cheaper, but it's a good deal for being in the states, and translated into English to boot.

Summary: Works great. Read the manual. 2008-05-15
Comment: Works great, just like everyone has said. One heads-up: the lithium battery that keeps the clock running is not supposed to be replaceable by customer, the instructions say to take it to the authorized service facility.
I hope that battery lasts a long, long time. I'm not at all for spending a couple of dozen dollars for some $2 dollar battery by having to send it off somewhere and having to pay for some technician to unscrew a couple of screws. Hopefully it won't be hard to DIY.

Summary: best in the market, after I try so many 2008-05-11
Comment: Knew this product from a friends house, I love it, simple to use, no complicated, and great rice, I am from Peru and we eat rice every day, I cook it every day or once a week for all the week, and tastes like is fresh.
Enjoy it, buy it now!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Perfect rice 2008-05-08
Comment: This rice cooker does a great job with brown and white rice - I have not tried the other features yet. It's a little complicated to figure out how to work beyond the pre-sets, which take extra time, but the texture of the finished product is wonderful. Be sure to rinse your rice well before cooking.

Summary: Maces great rice and plays music too! 2008-05-02
Comment: We use this all the time. Makes great rice. Reheats rice perfectly. Makes all kinds of rice. Keeps it perfect for HOURS. We also use it for oatmeal and other whole grain cereals. Wake up to perfect oatmeal; yummy. It is incredibly easy to use and program, and, it a perfectly quirky Oriental way, it plays catchy little ditties when the rice is done.
