Summary: Oh well 2008-03-28
Comment: The price was about the same as the Royal Daulton outlet sale, but a bit of a disappointment, this. It it NOT in the Royal Albert box, as stated by another reviewer,(neither was the one at the outlet) at least mine was not, and it was flawed/chipped(?), so I returned it. It apparently got lost in shipping - not necessarily Amazon's problem, US post office and all, so I had to wait quite a while, eventually they gave me a refund - since my visa had renewed in the meantime, and the bookkeeping got complicated. I will have to reorder, so I've lost time, but they came through with the refund, and no shipping charge since it was damaged, so, the transaction was satisfactory. It was well wrapped, so the damage would have been before the shipping.

Summary: Adorable 2006-08-30
Comment: Item arrived in a beautiful Royal box, packed perfectly and arrived in mint condition. It is absolutely beautiful with heavy gold on the lid top. The cover is round and will accommodate several butter pats/squares daintily arranged on the plate. This item can also be used to serve other items besides butter. I love it and am very happy that I ordered it as part of my RA set.
