Product Description
Sanyo's convection oven combines the best of powerful convection cooking, baking and toasting with a stylish, stainless steel design. The convection oven features full-width heaters on top and bottom and twin convection inlets for rapid and even heat distribution. It keeps track of the cooking progress with its 40-minute digital timer and lighted countdown indicators. Use it to cook meat and poultry dishes, bake pies and casseroles, toast up to four slices of bread at once and reheat leftovers. The width of the opening is 10-in. wide - large enough to hold a 10-in. pizza or a 9-in. pie. The panel on front offers one-touch toasting for heating one, two or three-to-four slices of bread for perfect browning every time. It even allows for bread that's frozen. The temperature ranges from 180- to 470-degrees F for precise baking. For easier access to hot baking sheets or pie pans, the oven's rack automatically slides out when the door is opened; remove the oven rack completely for easy cleaning. Included with your Sanyo convection oven is a nonstick oven tray and crumb tray and an English/Spanish instruction manual with recipes.

Summary: Best Stainless Steel Oven on the Market 2008-10-11
Comment: After trying two different other stainless steel toaster ovens (Delonghi, B&D) finally found the perfect one. This does exactly what you want it to do first and foremost....toast. It toasts evenly & quickly. The size is pretty compact as well and looks sharp. A keeper.

Summary: Not perfect, but makes perfect toast 2008-10-07
Comment: After the disaster that was my last toaster, this one is a welcome change. It just makes great toast. Unfortunately, the temperature control on the convection oven did not work. After jumping through a few hoops with the very-friendly customer service, I'm going to get a new one sent to me. All-in-all I've been happy with the purchase and look forward to trying out the working convection oven when it gets here.

Summary: Great oven, terrific price 2008-10-03
Comment: First Sanyo SK-VF7S Stainless Steel Digital Convection Oven arrived damaged--large dent on side but very easy return process. Another oven was sent out immediately and is fine. In addition to working very well for both baking and toasting the oven is quite attractive. You won't be disappointed. And having a frozen bread button is a plus. Only very slight negative is that it took a few tries to get used to the strange settings.

Summary: Good toaster for a toaster oven 2008-09-30
Comment: Most kitchen folks know that a toaster is the best appliance to make toast, not a toaster oven. But if you want the convenience that a toaster oven brings and are challenged for counter space (as we are), this one does a decent job. Yes, there are still darker stripes of toasted bread directly over the heating element, so it's a little uneven, but not nearly as bad as the Black & Decker model that preceded this one. As a toaster OVEN, so far we've loved it. My mother-in-law has trouble getting past the fact that you have only six preset temperature controls and that the timer doesn't move, but she's now conquering the learning curve. For anyone looking for a good toaster oven at a good price ($65), I recommend the Sanyo SK-VF7S!

Summary: Great if you like getting shocked 2008-09-30
Comment: The toaster oven works well with one big down side, it shocks you. My wife was shocked twice while putting the cooking pan in it. I also notice that the plug is not the three prong ground type so shocks are not a big surprise.
