Seki Magoroku Nakiri is a Japanese style vegetable knife. This has a straight blade edge for cutting all the way through without the need for a push or pull. Single sided cutting edge for precise cutting performance.
High carbon stainless steel
Rich Bubinga wood handle. This hardwood is from Africa and is considered one of the Rosewoods and takes on a high lustrous finish.
The polished polypropylene collar harmonically complements the modern color of the wood.
Customer Rating: Summary: One of our favorite knives 2008-10-05 Comment: This is a great knife and was a great buy. Excellent for cutting vegetables (as the knife is meant for). Would suggest this knife (or the whole set) to anyone looking to upgrade from the cheaper department store knives, but are not ready to foot the bill for Wustof, Henkles or (my pref) Shuns.

Customer Rating: Summary: Super Sharp 2008-05-18 Comment: Excellent knife. Maintains a shape edge with a good steel. Be very careful as u can cut yourself very easy. Quality and price was great. Wash and dry keep in a knife block or magnetic holder to keep edge sharp
