Summary: It works well but is too small 2008-10-04
Comment: The bamboo is nice and it works well but is far to small to use as your main cutting board. Spend more and get a larger one.

Summary: good quality board 2008-08-27
Comment: I have this board for a few weeks now and use it almost daily. SO far it seems to be good. It does show some wear from me cutting too deep, but I guess it is what it is supposed to be. It is easy to wash, the cuts didn't make it too rough so food will not stick to it and easily slides off. I hand wash it with some regular dishwashing detergent, and I used some wood oil couple of times, it seemed to make the surface brighter.

Summary: Great cutting board 2008-06-18
Comment: This cutting board is great, but it's a bit on the small side. It's 8x12, so it's a little bigger than a piece of paper. The board is beautiful, sturdy, and I love that it's bamboo, but realistically I can only fit one thing at a time on it. If you're looking for a smaller board, I would say this is probably the one to get; since it's one piece it has less chance of warping. But if you need room to cut up more than one veggie at a time, go with a bigger one.
