To commemorate 100 years of crafting fine flatware, Wallace designed the Centennial flatware pattern. Each handle features three sweeping sculpted pleats that terminate at three bands that encircle each utensil's neck. Subtle faceting on the handle tips furthers the flatware's classic display. The set offers service for eight. Each placesetting consists of a hollow-handle 9-inch knife, a 7-7/8-inch dinner fork, a 7-7/8-inch dinner spoon, a 6-1/2-inch teaspoon, and two 7-3/8-inch salad forks. The extra salad forks afford flexibility for a dessert course or extra guests. The set also provides a six-piece hostess set with a pierced 8-5/8-inch tablespoon, a regular 8-5/8-inch tablespoon, a 9-inch cold meat fork, a 7-inch flat handle butter knife, a 6-1/2-inch sugar spoon, and a pie server. All pieces benefit from 18/10 stainless-steel construction for durability, while glossy silver plating enhances the set's luster. The dishwasher- safe flatware stores in a mahogany chest.
