Summary: Another winner! 2008-11-23
Comment: This is yet another fantastic collection of their music. I have listened to it more than twenty times already but I never seem to tire of their music. I most definitely recommend it.

Summary: They did it again, and without Amaia 2008-11-10
Comment: They came with a new album, a new singer, but still the same La Oreja de Van Gogh that does not fail to provide the same unpredictable and flawless sound that keeps them as one of the most successful Spanish bands of this century. Amazing, is the only word that describes this album full of LODVG quality but with a bit of rock that makes the perfect blend for the new singer, whose voice range and power was a good decision to replace former singer Amaia Montero. If you liked the previous album, you would not be disappointed.

Summary: promising restart for LOVG 2008-11-08
Comment: Singers are a huge part of a group's sound and appeal, even when the rest of the band is as great as LOVG. So comparisons to the albums with Amaia Montero are inescapable but ultimately we care about today's band, not the 2006 version. This new album is good. I love this group's music and I was glad to hear a beautiful and soulful voice in Leire Martinez. She isn't singing yet with the dynamic range or lyrical sensibility of A.M. (neither by octave nor in mood), but you can hear the present beauty and new potential in these songs. I didn't expect something like Guapa first time out of the gate. This is a strong early album for the new LOVG.
Leire M has a darker yet still very clear voice, different from A.M.'s sweeter and more crystalline sound, but to my ears no less beautiful. Give her another year or two of growth and fans may miss A.M.'s song-writing more than her vocals.
U.S. tour, please!

Summary: Amaia has left a huge empty hole that cannot be filled up by anyone. 2008-11-07
Comment: LOVG! have always been an excellent band since day one. I'm a sucker for great electronic sounds, moogs, synth leads, and dark atmosphere. These guys have it all!.....or should I say, had it all! Well....ever since I heard the Amaia news leaving the band, I can't really imagine the band without her. LOVG have continued their work with a new voice, and even though; this is a great achievement as a band. When I hear the new voice by Leire Martínez, I can't help, but wonder if this is really the great band that we grew up to love. The music sounds as good as always, can't complaint about that. I just miss Amaia's Smooth and delicate vocals, which were very angelical, and full of passion, she transported that feeling to us, the listeners. I wish LOVG and Amaia the best of luck, but Amaia has left a very empty space that cannot be filled up by anyone.

Summary: Stuck with it! 2008-11-01
Comment: I don't want to listen to anything else ever since I got this CD... and when I'm not listening to it, the melodies are stuck in my head, and I'm humming them all day long...!!! Even though I like all the CD's songs, my favorite is the mellow "Jueves"... what can I say, I'm an incurable romantic! ;)
I agree with other reviewers about the new singer. The transition is smooth, almost seamless. She has a very nice, raspy voice (reminiscent of Amaia Montero's).
Buy the CD, you won't regret it!
