Los Lonely Boys have an impressive sound, on CD or in concert. Sound will never be a problem for this group, but although Forgiven is well executed technically, Los Lonely Boys have been doing the same song over and over for years. If you have listened to three of their songs, you have heard them all. This CD is no different. It's the same usual rock/pop with a few Latin touches in the Santana style. It's good that the group has a signature sound, but it doesn't mean that it's alright to make the same album time and again. Should Los Lonely Boys adventure to perform other genres, they will surely have an impact, as they did when they first came out, but Forgiven is a forgettable album. --Ernesto Sánchez (People en Español  ) Aquí tiene a un grupo que suena espectacular ya sea en disco o en concierto, ese nunca será su problema. Forgiven is the third album from Grammy Award winning multi platinum artist Los Lonely Boys. This album was produced by Steve Jordan (John Mayer). Forgiven is the follow up to Sacred which debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts in July 2006. The album's first single 'Staying With Me' premiered on May 5th Cinco De Mayo. Los Lonely Boys are a rock band from San Angelo, Texas. They play a style of music which they dub as Texican Rock n' Roll, combining elements of Rock'N'Roll, Blues, Soul, Country, and Tejano.

Summary: Beatles, anyone? 2008-11-22
Comment: this is the best band since the Beatles. Listen to "you're gonna make it better",..tell me that's not John Lennon and Paul,..it's inspired. I thought I heard traces of the Beatles in Sacred,..but this CD seals the deal for me. That second song, "Staying with Me",..it's very nice,..very very exquisitely goose bumps nice. Who ever that guy is,..that guy that plays lead guitar,..thank you, for renewing my faith in the future of rock.

Comment: These guys are absolutely great. The harmonies are fantastic, Henry's guitar work as great as on the previous CD's and all are fine songs. You can't go wrong with this CD.
