Summary: Bratz Kidz for DS {my review} 2008-12-03
Comment: This DS version of Bratz Kidz(tm) mirrors the Wii(tm) version a lot but with portability. It's also full of exciting mini games some are the same as the Wii version but using the stylus instead of the Wii remote puts an entire different twist on them.

You start out in easy mode then as you unlock the medium and easy modes, it's a fun, fun challenge. My daughter unlocked the levels way faster than I did. She's all about these fun fashion girls! Cutting out the fashions with the stylus is sure to help her writing skills. When you get to the hard level on that game it truly makes you sweat, but it's oh so fun.

The baking mini game is a blast. It's so interactive, pouring milk, cracking eggs. My husband laughed so hard at me when I was telling the crowd to sit down so I could get good photos at the fashion show. That is made possible by using the DS's built in microphone. It's fun and hilarious.

As you go along you're rewarded with different pieces of clothing, shoes and stuff to decorate your room. Even if you don't pass a level you still receive a reward, which to me is fabulous! Kids are motivated to play on, if they win or lose a level they still get cool stuff.

So I don't have to worry if my little one is right in the middle of playing Bratz Kidz for Wii and I have to say, "Come on, lets go!" I'll just pop the DS and Bratz Kidz for DS in my purse and we're set to go on a peaceful outing.
