Summary: my favorite sunglasses 2008-07-10
Comment: Bought these a year ago in a hurry when my old sunglasses broke while on vacation, and considering the 2 minute purchase process I have been amazed with how perfect they have turned out to be. Lightweight, great fit, great optics. I wear them driving, boating, even cycling occasionally. They've been abused with sand and chlorine and salt water and still look almost perfect. They do a great job keeping the grit out of my contact lenses. The arms are surprisingly flexible, but they hold the glasses exactly in place, and are very comfortable over the ear even after wearing all day long. My only minor concern is that a couple of times I have unintentionally knocked off the removable nose pads. For me, I'd prefer that the pads were glued in place permanently to avoid the risk of losing them.

July 2009 Update: the inevitable finally happened -- after about a year of ownership one of the nose pieces came off and was lost. So I phoned Bushnell hoping to order replacements, and to my pleasant surprise they sent them to me at no charge. So the sunglasses still get the 5 star rating, and Bushnell service gets some cudos too.
