Perfect Size for Home or Small Office
The shredder's black color and moderate size (12 x 7 x 16 inches) make it a tasteful and practical addition to a small home or office space. A 59-inch power cord allows you to store it far from power outlets. When the time comes to empty the attached wastebasket, a full-bag indicator light will alert you. But with a 125-sheet-capacity wastebasket, you won't need to empty it often.
For maximum convenience, you can simply leave the shredder in auto start mode. Each time paper is inserted, a sensor will activate the blades. If more than eight pages are inserted at a time, the manual reverse mode can come in handy to clear a temporary paper jam. In case of heavy use, the shredder also features thermal overload protection to keep the unit from overheating.

Comment: It is a compact shredder that serves my purpose of junk mail and other things I don't want to just throw away. It is fast and efficient. It is a sleek, black color and doesn't take up much room. I would definitely recommend this shredder for the cost and quality of this product.

Comment: This shredder sucks!! It works wonderful and then just abruptly stops working after a month or two. DO NOT BUY THIS SHREDDER!!! I have gone through two of them and both of them did the same thing. Only lasted a month and a half. BUYER BEWARE! HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!

Comment: This is a small, cheap shredder, emphasis on cheap. At first I thought the light weight, plastic unit would work well for my basic needs and then it jammed on 6 sheets of paper(8 sheet max recommended). While using the convenient reverse function to clear the jam, the top literally began to separate as the motor, too strong for the cheap mounting, began to break the plastic connection holding it in place. Making sure never to put in more than 4 sheets of paper, or two sheets if they happened to be folded in half, I didn't have too many jamming problems until I tried a credit card. One, single, credit card jammed the shredder and because it's so short in relation to a sheet of paper, the reverse function can't clear the remaining plastic.
The moral of the story is, I now have a paperweight where I once thought I had a paper shredder. Thinking about the title of this review, if you put $40 into one of these shredders to save yourself the hassle, that would probably jam it too.

Comment: The cross cut feature does not work well if you have more than a few sheets fed through. Overall it is an alright product, I would buy it again- as long as it shreds paper it is all good to me.
