Summary: Poor quality, not worth the money. 2008-08-20
Comment: This item is of poor quality. I wonder how other reviews are talking about a nice wooden cherry finish. The finish is as cheap as it can be.
Don't expect a real wood finish, it is not. It will dissolve most likely
after a short period of time as it is a synthetic finish with artificial texture. In my case it already came with blisters and scratches. I hardly dare to touch it as it could be further damaged easily. Moreover, there are plastic threads incorporated into the desk, one of which was self-rotating such that I could not tighten the screw.
I will return this item to the sender immediately.
Not worth to spend $10 for it.

Summary: nice table but overpriced 2008-07-29
Comment: I got this to let me continue working while laid up following foot surgery. Assembly was a royal pain - parts were mislabeled on the ridiculous instructions, and one of the drill holes on the platform base was in the wrong place. Once assembled it works well enough. it's a little shaky, but there's plenty of room for notebooks of all sizes. My one complaint would be that the mousepad platform is way too high. I rolled it up to the side of my sofa and use a wireless mouse on the coffee table *underneath* the mouse platform.
Altogether, this is a useful and decent product. But the quality in no way warrants the price tag, which is about $20 too high.

Summary: Okay for the price... 2008-07-18
Comment: If you are not the type of person who likes to put things together and prefers to have furniture pre-assembled, then this item might not be for you. I personally like piecing things together but this desk took me about 30 minutes to assemble and tighten properly. I haven't experienced the rolling problem since two of the wheels have locks on them and I do like the adjustable height feature since I will sometimes roll this desk into my kitchen so I can look up recipes on my laptop while cooking. I am giving this item 3 stars instead of four however because I've noticed that the "wood" finish is starting to chip and flake off around the edges of the desk, which has me very annoyed since this item isn't even a month old! When I called the 800 number that came with the instructions to complain, the representative told me that during the course of "normal wear and tear" that this might occur and to use a furniture polish to reduce deterioration. I'm not really buying that since I've had this desk for a short time and I only use it in a carpeted home, but for the price I cannot complain.

Summary: Nice table, but not if you want to work from bed (unless your have a twin bed) 2008-06-05
Comment: I bough the table to work from bed from my confy bed lounge, however I could only roll a little bit the table base under my bed. It came scratch and with the wrong screws. It takes some patience to assembly it. However, the cherry wood finish look nice and it would be a great table for somebody that just want to move around the house with their laptop.

Summary: Very comfortable desk 2008-06-03
Comment: This desk is a life saver! You can wheel it up to the couch and work while sitting in a upright position while still in the comfort of your couch! It tilts to adjust to how you like the angle and it has a separate little side table for a mouse or a cold beverage! You can also make the surface go flat so you could also use it a a tray for a snack (in between working of course). This desk is very maneuverable and easy to stow away when needed. It has a very spiffy cherry wood finish that makes this desk fit in at any office or home. If you purchase this you will not be dis appointed.
