Product Description
A University of Colorado study proves the Prostretch stretches the heel cord more effectively by preventing the malalignment and compensatory pronation associated with wall or stair stretching. The ProStretch directs body weight into its heel cup, which prevents co-contraction and weight bearing on the metatarsals.

Summary: excellent stretch for achilles, calve muscles 2009-12-12
Comment: The extra dorsiflexion achieved with this device gives a tremendous stretch to the posterior muscles and tendons of the the lower leg. Patients suffering from chronic tightness of the calves, achilles tendon and plantar fascitis will notice considerable improvement very quickly after using the ProStretch. Several of my patients have purchased this after trying it in the office.

Summary: ARCH AND HEEL PAIN GONE THE FIRST DAY!!! 2009-12-12
Comment: I had been suffering with arch and heel pain for the past few years. I tried expensive shoes which are very comfortable but the pain persisted. When I would stand from a sitting position it would hurt and I would limp the first few steps. The problem progressed to the point that I was going to make an appointment to see a podiatrist.

I came across an article about the Prostretch and decided to try it as a last resort. I read the manual as soon as it arrived and did the "gastroc" exercise. After, my foot felt good and I had less soreness. The muscles felt loose and stretched, not tight as they normally would. I sat down for about an hour and then did the exercise again. I sat down for a while again and everything felt great and the soreness was entirely gone. I stood up with out pain and no more limping the first few steps. I knew the true test would be when I got up in the morning. When I got out of bed, no pain.

I walk 3 miles a day on the treadmill. In the past, I had pain before and after the walk. I can't wait to try that out today.

Now that I have used the Prostretch, I wish that I would have bought the bilateral model to do both legs at the same time, but it's no big deal because it only takes a couple of minutes to exercise both legs.
