Summary: Accentuates Vibration Noise 2010-03-17
Comment: We ended up using a piece of indoor outdoor carpet. This unit caused the noise to increase ten fold. I would not buy it again!

Comment: This item is much to large for the ORIGINAL PET FOUNTAIN. The fountain does not fit or lock into the grooves making it useless. Save your money and put a plain old tray under the Fountain.

Comment: It works just as is should and is saving my kitchen floor from further warping due to the constant moisture generated by the Drinkwell and for that reason I love it. It gets four stars because it annoys me that I have to buy yet another item for the Drinkwell to just be functional. Why not include a moisture barrier as part of the unit itself?
