Summary: destressing the cat. 2010-02-12
with me for a couple years. They are both a permanent part of my
household. I love them both very much and enjoy their company.
At first they were fine, but I have now amassed enough
other cats in the house - coming and going as they are adopted - and
they both suddenly started spraying around my house. Alot. I tried
several cleaners, etc. but it did not stop.
I had reached the last straw and was considering euthanasia even tho
I loved both of these cats very much. After trying several cleaners I found
a product called Stink Free (which Amazon sells!) I cleaned my house
with it exactly as directed. I caged the cats for about 2 weeks while I
ran a feliway diffuser in the room where I planned on turning them loose.
They have now been loose in that room for several months and there has
been no spraying. Most of the other cats come and go from the room as they
please, but those 2 stay there 24/7. I have had no marking!! Everyone is
getting along fine.
