Chad Hedrick was/is perhaps the most decorated in-line speedskater in the US. He took home a Gold at the 2006 Torino Winter Games when he focused his considerable talent on ice.... Whether you race or just like to go fast--this is the kind of wheel that gives you some real turbopower and kicks it up a notch for you. In fact, this particular wheel has been the wheel of choice for more winners of outdoor skate races than any other wheel--ever. These wheels are an 84mm size and only fit a small subset of skates-- some high-end fitness skates, racing skates, etc. Please take a moment to check to make sure if you have never had wheels of this size. This perhaps only fits on less than 1 out of 1000 of the skates in the world so measure twice, cut once as they say... The 84 durometer is ideal for outdoor skating on rough outdoor roads, asphalt and other hard surfaces. It is slightly harder than the average wheel which tends to give you a more efficient, streamlined footprint generating more speed with less drag/friction. The profile is built for straight line speed. The hub is the standard 608 hub size. This wheel is designed to provide more rebound than any other wheel. Simply put- less of your power is absorbed by the wheel and more of it is converted into SPEED. The hub is the 5-star race hub--light and strong. The wheel is a yellowish color with a chrome-looking colored hub.
