Product Description
The Active Ankle T2 provides 54% more stability than competitive products. The solid shell transfers some of the weight-bearing forces around the injury site up into the lower leg to help reduce pain. A Drexel University study showed the brace reduced by about 8% the weight carried by the heel bone-equal to 12-pound unloading during ambulation in a 150-pound person. Bilateral hinges allow unrestricted flexion of the ankle assisting in a faster return to activity. Comment: This ankle brace is a must for volleyball players. I only wish my daughter would have had it before she injured her ankle.

Comment: I ordered these for club volleyball because my coaches said they would work very well. I must admit at first I thought they would be too big and a bit wierd and felt bizarre, but after a while they became quite comfy. The only thing I am worried about is that the heel pad will peel off because that is what happened to my sister's ankle braces. Hopefully they will stay on for a while.

Summary: The Brace Shop Purchase 2008-09-28
Comment: About a month ago, I ordered an ankle brace from The Brace Shop. I wanted a small but they shipped a large. I admit that there is a possibility that I failed to update the size correctly. Upon receipt of the brace, I followed the Amazon communication link to the vendor and asked that they ship a small as soon as possible and send me an authorization so I can return the large brace. To date, I have not received a small brace nor any communication from the vendor. I have also tried to call, but their business hours are limited.

Summary: One brace??? 2008-08-01
Comment: I recently invested in the active ankle brace because I play volleyball and my coaches recommended them for protection against rolling/spraining/or breaking an ankle. I am very pleased with the product, but the only drawback was that I only recieved one brace. I was in a hurry at the time of my order, but it was never clarified that I was paying $30.00 for only ONE brace. I have two ankles. I am just suggesting that Amazon and the seller of these braces makes it clear to customers that they are purchasing only ONE brace.
