Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: excellent deal 2008-11-24
Comment: Very good gun for the price.A lot of attention has been given during the design.Even the bolt action has been replicated. My sample has an FPS of about 380 using .20g bb.The accuracy of this gun is good and it is very easy to aim even with the fully adjustable iron sight. The Socom rail is very nice .You will have to spend almost $100 to buy this rail separate.Rate of fire is impressive even with the stock battery.Only the sling that came with the gun looks flimsy and I recommend getting an upgraded sling.Overall I recommend this gun to airsoft gun fans and collectors alike.

Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: Great Target Gun 2008-10-16
Comment: Couple of quick disclaimers -- This is my first airsoft rifle; I bought it for target shooting; and I don't intend to do any battling at this point.

I'm very happy:
-- It's powerful (putting decent dents in garage drywall at 40 feet, which I hope my wife doesn't find). I've put up 2" of foam insulation board as backing, and shot doesn't quite go through. It had easily gone through both sides of the regular cardboard boxes I had used before.
-- Very accurate - easy to hit quarter-sized targets at that range, without scope.
-- Incredible magazine and battery capacity.
-- Very nice and responsive semi-automatic response.
-- Fully automatic is fun and fast, but magazine hiccup will usually stop the flow after 20-30 shots (until you wind it up a little to restart).
-- Very bad documentation (looks like the "manual" is incomplete -- diagram with no key to explain the parts, apparently missing sections, but the document was actually complete).
-- Solid parts
-- Easy to use - even without instructions (although I haven't figured out hop-up yet)
-- Maybe a bit heavy, for battle use (it's way too powerful in the first place, but I'd hate to have to lug it around in close quarters, if I were doing that stuff).

Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: well made airsoft rifle... awsome!!!!!!! 2008-07-25
Comment: specs.
430-450 fps. (500 fps can be achieved with some upgrades)
400 round hgh cap mag
semi and full auto
adjustable hop up
about 800 rpm with fully charged battery
rear sights are adjustable
can be fitted with a red dot scope
metal parts: everything except the muddy green abs plastic(strong plastic)

my review:
i got this gun on sale at big 5 and was very excited to get it. and when i got home i opened it up and realized that the battery to this gun was extremely large compared to most 8.4 volt batteries. i then took it out of the box and realized that it was very heavy and hard to hold up for long periods of time. and after i charged the battery i took it out for a test fire and it shot extremely well for an aeg. After that i took out my mag and counted the bbs one by one to see how many it held, and it came out to exactly 400.

things you should know:
the battery is a bit hard to get in.
it hurts really bad at close range.
the top rail is adjustable.
very heavy and well built.
pritty much the best aeg out there for under 200$

i recomend it too:

i recomend this gun to anyone who wants a well built gun, and is strong enough to hold it up for a long time. buy this gun, you wont regret it!!!!

Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: A great gun for the $$$ Very nice 2008-07-14
Comment: I saw this on the site and loved the picture. I have owned a Toyko Marui gun the same model. This gun shoots as good or even better than the high priced guns. The rate of fire is very good and the gun Chronoed @ over 400 fps which is very nice for outdoor play. Its also very quite. The top rail system is very nice and would be expensive to put on other M-14 brands. Overall its a winner and Its 5 stars for sure.
