Comment: Yes, it is a requirement to buy this stuff when you are using professional grade clippers. Without them you will most certainly burn your pet from the heat of friction.

Comment: This product is so-so. I use them on my Olsen clippers at home. It's kind of messy. It's definitely "professional's" product. When my local barber first used it, I was like: "Wow, that feels so good." But when I use it, it's just not the same.
