Summary: Felt great in the store, less great in action 2008-10-16
Comment: These shoes felt perfect in the store. I have very high arches and have a hard time finding running shoes, so I was initially quite excited. However, after wearing them a few times, they gave me the most horrible blisters on my heels.

Summary: Great shoes! 2008-10-10
Comment: I have been running in these shoes since June and I love them. I have a foot that's between a narrow and a medium width, and this shoe fits me just right. I have plenty of room in the "toe box" and no slipping in the heel. Plus there is plenty of cushioning. I agree with a previous reviewer in that running shoes are a personal type of item and what feels great for one person may not be great for another. But if you have worn ASICS before and you like them, I would give these a try.

Summary: heel rubs 2008-10-08
Comment: I have worn Asics Gel Nimbus 9's for the past 3 years. I've been running 20-25 miles a week. I bought these shoes 21 days ago. I have a terrible blister on my left heel, and noticed this morning that the inside of the shoe is already torn. The Gel Nimbus 9's would do that, but usually after about 6 months - which was when I would need to get new shoes anyway.
I'm really disappointed. I am going to try to return them today.

Comment: I love the Asics shoes better than any other running shoe I've tried. This one proved to be a great cushion ride and very comfortable on the foot. Not too heavy and extremely stable. Love this shoe. I'm a neutral runner that is looking for cushioning and light stability and this shoe delivered. Love Asics and what they do for my feet.
