Comment: The bag simply collects some of the saw dust. At best 50%. It is much better to use a shop vac's tubing inserted directly into the output of the saw. I put together a common switch so they both go on at the same time. My rear bagger is already in the dust bin in my shop (used it 6 times in 3 weeks)

Comment: After using this dust bag for months now, I am pleasantly surprised at how much dust the bag actually collects. In fact, it works better than I thought it would. The capacity is quite good and you can use the saw quite a bit before having to empty the bag.
Does the bag collect as much as a shop vac attached to the saw or a dust collection system? Of course not, and it would be unreasonable to expect that it would. I am puzzled at some reviews that knock the product for not comparing favorably to a true dust collection system. I use the bag on a Bosch 4100-09 unit and use both the stock and zero clearance inserts. Contrary to some reviewers, I have not found the bag to significantly restrict output airflow.
At home I use a dust collection system, but on the road this bag works well and saves cleanup time at the end of the job. I think if you keep your expectations reasonable, you will be satisfied with this dust bag.

Comment: This dust collection bag captured a good portion of the sawdust, but creates too much resistance to airflow, causing sawdust to blow back in your face. I had to take it off. Disappointing.

Comment: Thought I would give this bag a try as I was purchasing a few other items on Amazon and take advantage of the free shipping offer. The Bosch table saw that the bag attaches to is great, the bag is not! When ripping a 2 X 4 the chips just plug up in the bottom of the saw as there is not enough flow into the bag. The bag also plugged up at the next job when I was just doing general cross cut work in poplar and oak. Probably need to purchase one of those canister type dust collectors. Save your money and dont buy this Bosch accessory.
