I believe that any previous negative review about this item is because the people did not read well enough or expected a $70 value for $21. I found the item to be exactly what I needed; looks good; covers my medium size generator like it was made for it.

Customer Rating: Summary: Nice heavy duty cover 2008-10-19 Comment: I ordered this for my 8000 watt generator and, surprisingly, it's a little loose. But I would rather have it loose than tight. Nice heavy duty fabric that falls almost to the ground which should help keep the dust off.

Customer Rating: Summary: Generator cover 2008-01-27 Comment: I purchsed this cover three weeks after purchasing a 5500 generator. As the generator sat in the shed, dust collected on it - not good. Moved the generator to the garage - same situation - dust and dirt.
Now that it is covered I do not worry about the dust and dirt getting where it shouldn't get.
The cover had an attached bag on it. The cover neatly folds up into the bag when I use the generator. Neat idea and very helpful bonus.
