Summary: Try A Gerber! 2008-12-11
Comment: This is my first Gerber knife, and I love it! This is much nicer than similar Buck knives, in my opinion. It is slimmer, less noticable in the pocket. Quality is impressive. When opened its much more balanced than the Buck Bantam..the handle is heavier. Gerber did not try to make the handle super fancy, or high tech looking to attract buyers..it seems they made it to be just right.

Summary: Best pocketknive ever 2008-10-24
Comment: This is the best pocketknive I ever owned: lightweight, easy in the hand, secure blade, and a durable sharpness. Everything one needs from a functional perspective, without the frills.

Summary: Great little gadget 2008-07-18
Comment: Gerber is known for quality and this knife is no exception. My husband carries it in his pocket every day and it has come in handy for many tasks. It's been through the washer several times and still looks like new. The knife maintains its sharpness with a little touch up now and then.

Summary: fabulous 2008-06-21
Comment: this pocket knife is great. inexpensive, easy/open close, light weight and super sharp. i just have to carry a pocket knife (doesn't everyone?) and was looking for something new after carrying mini swiss army knives for years (and replacing them every 4-6 months!). i have very few "must have's" in this regard:
1) pocket sized (obviously)
2) light
3) sharp
4) durable
it's a little larger that i wanted (i prefer something about the same size as my flash drive), but it's been absolutely stellar thus far. the drop point is great for cutting boxes open and liberating the odd hard drive jumper. the grip is sure, the lock secure, and the blade has held it's edge extremely well. well done gerber.

Summary: great knife 2008-04-14
Comment: This is a great everyday knife. Sure, it's not as heavy duty as some people might like (the blade is quite thin), but for an everyday knife to have in your pocket, it fits the bill perfectly. It's extremely light (you will only barely notice that something is in your pocket), very sharp, and very well-balanced in your hand. It's an ideal blade for slicing things. The only bad thing I have to say is that it doesn't come with a pocket clip.
I highly recommend owning one of these, but don't pay more than $15-$16.
