Summary: Beautiful Faucet - height causes unwanted splashing 2008-07-09
Comment: The Grohe Ladylux Pro is a beautiful faucet. My hubbie and I spent four weeks researching faucets for our recent kitchen remodel and finally chose with great confidence the Grohe Ladylux. We loved the look, we loved the features, we loved the positive customer feedback. After installation, we felt the same - boy is this a lovely faucet. The water stream is extremely powerful - caked on food dissolves even with cold water - and we loved the pull-down ergonomic head with easy-to-switch sprayer. A few disappointments though, that I wish we had known about before purchase: 1. With the faucet height and the fact that we got a deep sink, the powerful water stream tends to splash everywhere. Sometimes I'd like a bib just to wash my hands. But it makes for constant water wipe-up around the sink area. Secondly, the spray feature only goes one way, i.e., you have to shut the water off and turn it back on to switch from spray back to stream. I use the spray feature a lot, so this extra step is a minor annoyance. But altogether, I really like this product and would highly recommend. Grohe is a super company and produces high-quality products.
