Summary: Built like a tank... great plastic... no annoying lights to keep you awake 2008-11-07
Comment: Of couse the quality is great, built like a tank and I'd like to point out to those who may have not thought of it... it has no lights! Great if you want to use it in any room where you might be SLEEPING!
The quality is unmatched... I knew that when I purchased my first Honeywell fan for summer camp 16 years ago... this is my 3rd (the first is still kicking just fine). I have the floor fan, its $9 mini and now this great window fan. Built like a tank out of what is really good quality plastic, I'm very happy.
Id like to see it with a lower low setting, in black, and a bit quieter but since there are no black window fans in the market and it kicks the crap out of other fans on the other two points I will be keeping this baby till Honeywell makes a newer one :)

Summary: Honeywell Window Fan 2008-10-28
Comment: I have had these fans for two years and have had no problems yet. The unit is loud but I just use it during the day in the bedroom to create a draft in the living room. The unit is made in China and has a cheap plastic case. It is UL listed.

Summary: Great cooling; good for exhaust too 2008-10-03
Comment: I think the grills might occasionally sneak back into the base unit. But this does a fantastic job of blowing the cool air from the breezeway into our apartment. I'm sure the dog loves how much cooler the apartment is during the day while we're at work. And I know the wife loves the exhaust feature when I'm in the kitchen cooking. We're definitely happy with the purchase.

Summary: Great Value for Money 2008-10-03
Comment: Many good features for a good price. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the side extenders weren't long enough for wide windows and they were hard to fully extend and close.
Otherwise, a great product.

Summary: This fan won't let you down. 2008-09-24
Comment: I bought this, originally for myself and then sent it to my daughter, in Washington, to use in her dorm. It works great and the options available allow you to use either one or both of the fans.
